About us
Who we are
Since its inception, Dhaka Residential Model College has placed significant emphasis on fostering both academic excellence and moral development. While the institution has always valued the importance of religion and morality, there was previously no dedicated platform within the college to actively promote and organize events centered around Islamic culture and history..
Recognizing this gap, the DRMC Islamic Culture Club (DRMCICC) was established in 2021 with the mission of spreading the rich heritage, culture, and customs of Islam. The club was created not only to celebrate the teachings of Islam but also to provide students with an avenue for exploring their faith in a way that complements their formal education. Over the course of less than three years, DRMCICC has successfully caught the attention of both students and faculty alike through its diverse range of activities, programs, and events that highlight the beauty of Islamic traditions. By organizing lectures, discussions, and cultural events, the club has created a platform for students to engage deeply with Islamic ethics, helping them foster a sense of spirituality and morality that aligns with the values of the college. The DRMCICC has quickly become an integral part of the campus, nurturing young minds to not only excel academically but also to grow as morally grounded individuals rooted in Islamic values
